Join Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as He Names 2022 and Rewards Young African Leaders at the New Year’s Eve Service
At the New Year’s Eve Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will not only give 2022 a name, but he will also give prizes to young African leaders who have helped advance their local communities.

The charismatic Christ Embassy founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, is hosting his annual New Year’s Eve Service for his global audience on Friday, December 31st.
At the event, the pastor will go through what has happened in 2021, or the Year of Preparation as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome calls it. He gives every year and each month a name, and as the Year of Preparation is wrapping up, he will present the new theme of 2022 at the New Year’s Eve Service.
While the Christ Embassy founder is hosting the event in Lagos, Nigeria, viewers from all over the world are invited to join the New Year’s Eve celebrations through Christ Embassy’s digital platforms, such as LoveWorld SAT.
During the New Year’s Eve Service, the Future Africa Leader’s Awards (FALA) will also be aired.
Organized by the Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF), the award show rewards young African leaders who have made a significant impact on or a great positive change in their communities in 2021.
According to the Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation, the award show aims to explore and expand the leadership potentials on the African continent.
It does so by supporting and celebrating young leaders who have helped African youths prepare for a better and brighter future through education, youth empowerment, mentoring and other inspiring means.
On Sunday, December 19th, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome revealed the 30 nominees for the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards at the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards Nomination Show.
The winners will go home with $10,000 cash prizes at the New Year’s Eve Service.
One of the nominees will be named the Star Award Winner and will receive $25,000.
Last year’s Star Award Winner was Gwei Michael Wawa, who, for instance, established a non-governmental organization for youth empowerment in Cameroon.
