There are more than 70 million homeless animals currently living in the United States. However, only six to eight million of these homeless pets make it to one of the nation’s 3,500 shelters. Each day, around the nation, approximately 5,500 homeless dogs are euthanized in shelters. This is a staggering statistic. In addition to helping get shelter dogs into loving homes, the partnership between BFAS and K&T Chem-Dry is going to raise funds to increase awareness about the overpopulation epidemic and the need to have pets spayed and neutered.
