Kurtz Bros. Donates Supplies to Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center
Columbus-based mulch and soil supplier Kurtz Bros. is donating mulch to be used in a landscaping project around the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.

Kurtz Bros., a mulch, soil and landscape supplier, is donating mulch to the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center. The mulch will be used to update the landscape surrounding the research center.
As a landscape material supplier, Kurtz Bros. wanted its donation to be something unique, utilizing the work it does on a daily basis. The team knew that mulch would go a long way to create a beautiful outdoor space for patients, as well as save the Spielman Center thousands of dollars that can instead be put into treatment and care for patients.
The Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center is the first of its kind in the Midwest to offer the full continuum of breast cancer care—from prevention and screening through detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship—in one world-class facility. The Spielman Center is part of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Kurtz Bros. chose to work with the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center because of the incredible work they do for breast cancer patients nationwide. “Kurtz Bros. is proud of the great work being done at the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center,” says Jeff Stemler, account representative at Kurtz Bros. “We are honored to contribute in some small way to the Center.”
