Latest Release Allows ManageByStats Admins To Assign Specific User Permissions

September 28, 2016 – – ManageByStats, makers of Amazon seller software, announced today that they have enhanced their user permission options for the program. According to MBS CEO, Philip Jepsen, permissions before now were restricted to either User or Viewer. The User role allowed users to see all and make changes; the Viewer role allowed users simply to see all. As there are many different areas in ManageByStats, more granular user permissions were needed.

“We’ve had requests for this,” says Mr. Jepsen. “Our customers often have staff or employ virtual assistants. To be a complete software for Amazon sellers we needed the ability to allow our customers to set very specific, very granular permissions, allowing access to only those things they want to be accessed. With this new feature update we now offer that ability.”

With this recent update MBS users have the ability to set granular user permissions. The feature can be found in ManageByStats under Settings and Users. Any users added will now have an edit button. Selecting that will display the ability to assign three basic roles, which now also includes the option to make a user an Administrator. For each role the system now offers the ability to set specific access to each of the menu sections in ManageByStats.

“Want to allow them access to your ManageByStats but prevent the user from seeing the financial info under Stats?” asks Mr. Jepsen. “Remove their ability to see Stats. It’s now that easy. Want to let them only do work in SellerMail? Make them a User and then de-select all access except the SellerMail components. You can now invite users to your account and determine exactly what they can and cannot see and do. We hope this helps as you expand your Amazon business.”
