La’Ticia Nicole Beatty Speaks Life in Her Newly Released Film The HLIC Movie

The Head Ladies In Charge Movie (HLIC) features over 30 women in leadership who tell their stories of choice and triumph. Some stories are light-hearted, and some are serious while others like Beatty’s have a more serious tone. “I placed a warning on La’Ticia’s part so that people could be aware that they were going to hear a more adult story. I had no intention of stifling her story, and she was determined to be transparent to help other women,” says Dr. Wright, Director of the HLIC Movie.

Philanthropist, Mentor, Author and Speaker La’Ticia Nicole Beatty started out like many others. As a younger woman, she moved from Detroit to North Carolina with $15, four outfits, and a dream. She graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors. Then she went on to get a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. The two combined degrees allowed her to become an Executive Director in the long-term care industry. Her passion is to raise the self-esteem of girls and women so that they can become the person they were meant to be. “Being a part of the Head Ladies in Charge (HLIC) Movie allows me to take that message to a worldwide audience. I know my story can impact women all over the globe in a positive manner,” says Beatty.

She created the nonprofit organization Professional Divas, Inc. out of a strong desire to promote self-awareness and self-esteem throughout the community.
