Appleton, WI – September 30, 2015 /MarketersMedia/ —
Three years is regarded by many experts in the food and beverage industry as a watershed year for restaurants. Those that make it that far are typically destined to be successful indefinitely. That makes a third anniversary one of the most important milestones for any business, and one that the owners of one local Appleton Wisconsin restaurant are planning to celebrate in a big way, starting at 11am on Friday October 9th.
“We have been making plans for our third anniversary for several months now, knowing as we do what a big deal it is,” said Kim Finnell, the flamboyant co-owner of Osorio’s Latin Fusion restaurant.
As the face of the restaurant, customers have been drawn as much by her energy and enthusiasm as they have by the amazing food coming out of the kitchen of co-owner and Executive Chef Liborio Osorio. While the food will certainly be front and center of the two-day celebration, there will certainly be much more going on.
One of those events will be a live performance by national recording artists Manditori. Raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and now based in Nashville, this duo has been singing together since they were ten years old.
“When I heard Manditori the first time, I admit I was caught a little off guard,” said Nashville based singer/songwriter Paul Wilmet, as quoted on the duo’s website at www.manditori.com. “I am surrounded by some of the greatest talent in the world in Nashville. Their voices blend so well and they have a unique chemistry between them.”
Manditori will be performing on Friday, October 9th starting at 6:30 PM, and they will not be the only musical performance of the weekend. After last year’s success, they have brought back a strolling mariachi band for Saturday night.
“Last year the band was only scheduled to perform for a few hours,” said the self-described drama major, Finnell. “But they proved to be so popular, they stayed for much longer than they had intended!”
Finnell and General Manager (and third co-owner) Edgar Osorio are planning for record breaking numbers over the two-day celebration, thanks to the tremendous year they have had. Fresh off being named one of the top four creative cocktail bars in 2014 by El Restaurante magazine, 2015 saw them start an award-winning catering program in the spring, followed by the summer opening of their dining patio. They restaurant also began offering delivery in the area by partnering with local service, The Food Dude.
“We are really looking forward to not only thanking our local clientele but also introducing ourselves to new people,” said Finnell.
With expansive banquet rooms, and private dining rooms, some with intimate fireplaces, Osorio’s Latin Fusion is a prime location for many of the upcoming holidays parties people will be looking to host, but right now, Finnell and her staff are focused on the anniversary party.
“After the fun we’ll have over these two days, I’m grateful that we’re closed on Sundays!” the bubbly Finnell commented with a laugh.
