Launch Of CT Mediation & Arbitration Services, LLC Announced and Offering a Coffee Talk – “Naughty or Nice – Keeping the Peace with Family Over the Holidays”
November 17, 2016 – – Connecticut Mediation and Arbitration Services, LLC, based in Guilford, was founded to provide individuals and businesses non-adversarial methods to resolve their conflicts. The company offers mediation for wills and probate disputes, civil litigation and family law matters including divorce and custody.
The Company provides a unique perspective of the alternative dispute process by crossing more spectrums than other companies coupled with offering a span of mediators and arbitrators to meet your specific needs.
President Cynthia Cartier is passionate about this subject, wanting to ensure that people are able to resolve issues in an amicable manner. “I founded the company to provide individuals and businesses non-adversarial methods to settle their disagreements, through mediation. Mediation is about working together to find agreeable solutions, thereby also avoiding lengthy conflicts that often escalate.”
Cartier has been practicing law for 25 years. Over the course of her twenty-five year career, she has dedicated a significant portion of her practice to alternative dispute resolution both as a participant and as a mediator/arbitrator and has experienced first-hand how important it is to find alternatives for dispute resolutions. Founding the company was the next logical step for her, having recognized that there must be a better way to resolve conflicts between people. “In the middle of every conflict, lies an opportunity for a meaningful resolution,” she adds.
The Company strives to achieve success in resolving conflict. “Mediation is a negotiation process in which the disputing parties are assisted by a neutral third-party—a mediator. Our mediators are trained to facilitate discussions and allow the parties to work out their own solution to the problem. If the mediation process fails to bring about a settlement or if the conflict would not initially benefit from mediation, we further offer an arbitration process, which a neutral third party will hear both sides and render a legally binding decision,” states Cartier.
To present her new Company, Cartier is partnering with Your End of Life Doula to offer a Coffee Chat “Naughty or Nice – Keeping the Peace with Family over the holidays” on December 7, 2016 from 5-6 pm at Guilford Dunkin Donuts, 556 Boston Post Road. Coffee and treats will be served.
Those who have worked with Cartier in the past have been very pleased about the services that she has offered, hailing her professionalism and abilities to find solutions where none seem to exist. “Cindy Cartier is always on top of her game,” says Sally M. on the company’s website. “When the case hasn’t resolved at the mediation, she follows up and is persistent until the case resolves whether through continued negotiation or arbitration. She thinks outside the box, is genuine in her approach, and works harder than any other mediator in the industry.”
As a culmination of her experience, Cartier has also written an ebook entitled “10 Steps to a Successful Divorce” The book is available for free through her website. The website, www.ctmediationarbitration.com, also includes an extensive blog with advice, information, and guidance for people who need more help with any kind of conflict. This includes custody cases, divorce success stories, and arrangements to make before someone dies, thereby avoiding conflict later on. People are encouraged to contact Cartier as soon as possible to utilize her services in the resolution of any type of dispute.
