London Homes Prone To Bolder, More Enterprising Burglars

September 22, 2015 – – London, UK, SEP 20, 2015 – It seems that these days burglars are both enterprising and bold. There is no end to their determination when breaking and entering into a property. In order to help London residents out with this, Locked-out LockSmiths (www.lockedout-locksmiths.co.uk) has just published a new blog post authored by Brendan Connolly entitled ‘A Reliable London Locksmith Protects Homes from Burglary Attempts‘.

The article begins with a discussion of David Raven Daily Mirror report of the burglary of the home of known physicist and TV personality Brian Cox that would have been successful had it not been for Cox’s wife who gave the looter the old one-two.

“Mrs. Cox fortunately thwarted the malicious plans of the unlucky home invader,” analyses Connolly. “Their London home is now more prone to burglaries as the criminal might have already compromised the locks of the entrances. No one can say whether the Cox family or others who have similar experiences will be lucky again to get through a second occurrence unscathed.”

The article relates that ‘competent locksmiths would even help homeowners determine whether additional security measures such as changing locks to properly fit the entrances they secure need to be implemented. Aside from ensuring that they meet their clients’ security and insurance requirements, locksmiths can also assist with repairing doors and windows, and even boarding these up if needed’.

Raven related in the Daily Mirror story that ‘Gia Milinovich, originally from America, was in a deep sleep at the couple’s London home after partying with some friends on the night of Thursday, May 22 when she was awoken at around 5am by her startled cat. Minutes later, she claims to have heard footsteps in her 17-year-old son’s bedroom so went to investigate and found a ‘strange man’ standing there’.
