London X City Magazine Looks At Heavy Weight Boxing

April 09, 2018 – – An online magazine that provides various categories of news about London and how they affect the city and the rest of the United Kingdom has announced that they will now also look at the exciting heavy weight boxing division and the impact that British fighters are having on the said boxing division. Furthermore, they will look at how the O2 Arena is becoming the new home of boxing in the UK. Those interested can read more about developments regarding this exciting sport on the magazine’s website.

“There have been some fantastic heavy weight fights as of late,” says magazine editor Chloe. “Nobody can forget Cornish vs Joshua, for instance, who met in the ring on March 31st for the first time in two years. This is just one example of how the O2 Arena is changing and becoming Britain’s answer to the Las Vegas boxing rings.”

The United Kingdom has long been a nation of boxing. Some believe this stems from the Irish street fighting sport, which also made its way to the United States. Boxing is known as the ‘gentleman’s answer’ to street fighting because it does have certain rules. And the UK is known for its fantastic boxers, many of whom have become global champions. Details about them can be found on the website of the London X City magazine.

Some examples of British boxers known the world over are Lennox Lewis, David Haye, Anthony Joshua, Amir Khan, Chris Eubank, and Tyson Fury. These are world-class boxers that have taken on some of the greatest fighters in the world and won. They are celebrated extensively at the O2 Arena as well. Chloe adds: “Boxing is a love it or hate it sport. But whatever your thoughts are about this sport, it is undeniable that the United Kingdom has produced some of the greatest boxers of all times, and these people are true celebrities.”

The website at www.londonxcity.com will continue to feature boxing matches and fights as and when they happen, while at the same time investigating the impact of the sport on British culture as a whole.
