London X City Magazine Looks At Rising Knife Crime In London

April 20, 2018 – – London X City online magazine is proud to announce that they have released a new report about the increasing incidences of knife crime in the city and what has led to it having a higher murder rate than New York City. People are encouraged to learn more about this hot topic and about the various factors that have come into play. A number of interesting proposals have been made in terms of what is causing the increase in knife crime.

Chloe from London X City says: “The news broke a few weeks ago that London now has a higher murder rate than New York. Naturally, this was a little bit misleading, as it wasn’t a higher rate on average, but rather on that singular night. But of course, that doesn’t make the situation any less bad.”

A number of different reasons have been cited to explain why there has been such an increase in violence in the city. London X City has looked at each of these possible reasons, including the notion that the city is now home to gang warfare. Chloe continues: “It still isn’t clear whether this surge in knife crime is related to gang warfare, or whether something else is going on. Not long ago, there were acid attacks on mopeds all over the city, which was linked to petty theft rather than gangs.” Those interested may want to read more about the topic when the magazine releases more information about it.

One of the key reasons that people have cited as linked to the increase in knife crime is that there are less police officers available to deal with the incidents. For many, this is mainly caused by the cuts in the police budget that the Conservative government has made, although they continue to point out that crime levels are down. Others say that the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, is not managing the budget appropriately, which means vital resources are taken away from the police force and put into other areas.

London X City, with website at www.londonxcity.com, has released a full report on the evidence that they have been able to gather and the opinions of both sides of the argument. They intend to continue to monitor the situation.
