Man Severely Wounded In California E-Cig Explosion, Prompts Potential E-Cigarette Explosion Lawsuit

July 30, 2016 – – LipsigLawyers.com reports on an e-cigarette explosion that occurred on June 22nd in California that is the 134th explosion in the United States, as well as the 20th recorded in the state. It is also the 200th explosion episode overall as reported by TheProductLawyers.com. There have now been 59 explosions on the west coast representing almost 30 percent of all global cases reported. This incident is, sadly, the 78th explosion in 2016, which places this year on track to exceed the combined totals from 2014 and 2015, 38 and 47, respectively, a total of 85.

As per a news story from VVNG.com, an Apple Valley man had to be airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center after his e-cig exploded causing severe damage to his face. The 40-year old victim called for help after the incident. A local police sergeant stated that their office receives, on average, one call per week similar to this incident.
