Established in 1996 by Charlie Bradshaw, Matrix has become an internationally recognised company, developing and manufacturing consumer product ranges for brands and retailers around the world. Whilst he s happy to take full credit for Matrix s success over the years, the reality is that there s always been a fantastic team behind him making it all happen.
I am absolutely thrilled that Matrix has been recognised as one of the top 100 companies to work for. I am incredibly proud of Matrix and its achievements, but most of all, the amazing people working within it.
Charlie believes that all employees should feel empowered to share ideas freely, take ownership of their role and treat the business as if it were their own.
Creating an entrepreneurial environment has been one of the big success factors for Matrix. I want everyone to come to work knowing the possibilities are endless and they can impact at every level, no matter where you sit in the organisation.
So, what s the magic ingredient that makes Matrix a great place to work?
The answer is in their people and culture. The Matrix view is that if you hire great people and nurture an amazing culture, then the rest just falls into place. Matrix s success has always been, and will continue to be, a product of having these two key ingredients in place.
Head of People, Hannah Thompson, said: Matrix is delighted to have been awarded an Outstanding Best Companies accreditation for workplace engagement. We re so proud of what the team at Matrix continues to achieve together and this award is a fantastic way to recognise and celebrate that. This has been our first year completing the Sunday Times survey and it has highlighted our core strengths as a business, particularly around our unique culture and team spirit. We re looking forward to building on this success in 2019.
