In order to raise enough money to help pay for the costs of her Thai Vegan Cooking Tour, May recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. She hopes to use crowdfunding to raise $59,000 for her innovative cooking tour.

“My plan involves buying a small food truck—a customized VW Bus—and traveling around the USA for six months offering vegan meals to individuals, groups, and organizations,” May said, adding that along the way, she will also visit food and music festivals, which will provide her with a great opportunity to cook for many people in a single location.
