City Roofing, a local Miami roofing contractor has partnered with a nationwide non-profit program, No Roof Left Behind, to give one lucky single-mom of two living in Miami a new roof. The project serves to support local communities across the United State to provide ways to help their good neighbors that have fallen on hard times.
Tiosha King is a 25 year old is a part-time student with two kids working as a cashier, living paycheck to paycheck, whom inherited her grandmother’s house following her sudden death. King has been trying to make her house a suitable place to raise a family – yet every time it rains she is having to place a pot in just about every room due to massive roof leaks. In its current condition, the roof is starting to crumble and is a serious safety concern. With no way for King to afford a loan to fix the roof herself, she was nominated to receive a new roof by her own community.
City Roofing will be providing the framework and materials for a new roof at no cost to King in addition to minor repairs to the home for free, estimated at $18,000 in total value.

“When we first started our Miami roofing company, we made a decision to help everyone we could,” expressed Mario Famada, who is the Owner of City Roofing. “Helping out someone like Ms. King and her family have been our only objective in doing business. The profits are one thing, but seeing families safely united in a home, that’s priceless.”
To celebrate this occasion, City Roofing will also be hosting the roof installation event on October 17th at 7am at King’s home, with a community party starting at 3pm with food, bounce house for kids, a live DJ, games and gift card giveaways to Home Depot.
City Roofing is thankful for the opportunity to partner with ‘No Roof left Behind’ to give back to the community that supported them and their company’s expansive growth in the South Florida area.
