Water Heaters Now was previously known as Same Day Water Heaters, but changed their name when they discovered another out of Minnesota firm with the same name. The predecessor of both was Royal Plumbing, where Ray built his business as a master plumber serving the South Metro area from his home in Faribault, MN.

The idea of building a specialty niche appealed to him as a way to differentiate himself and build a superior business with specialty skills. “There are a lot of plumbers out there, and most are pretty good, but they may be doing a dozen different things any given week or month.” “We saw a need for a highly skilled specialty such as water heaters.” “Even still, there is a lot a variety in this niche, with gas and electric tanks systems as well as the increasingly popular tankless water heater systems. We do them all, better faster and for less,” Ray says.
