Mission Ready Assisting North Carolina State University on Department of Homeland Security Funded Next Generation First Responder Uniforms

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / May 7, 2015 / Mission Ready Services Inc. (TSX-V: MRS) – Mission Ready Services Inc. (“Mission Ready” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on the cooperative agreement between its wholly-owned subsidiary, Protect The Force, Inc. (“PTF”), and the North Carolina State University (“NCSU”).

Mission Ready previously announced that PTF had been awarded a 14 month, $97,500 subcontract through prime contractor, North Carolina State University – Textile Protection and Comfort Center (“TPACC”), to develop an Advanced Multipurpose Base ensemble for Emergency Responders referred to as the AMBER project for the Department of Homeland Security.

Protect The Force Inc. is assisting The TPACC team in design and development of a new base ensemble of shirts and pants for emergency workers as part of a $718,000 grant project funded by the Department of Homeland Security.

In a NCSU news release dated May 4, 2015, it is stated “The T-PACC team will create and test prototypes using commercially available materials.
