MN Apple Orchard Announces 2017 Season Opener For Saturday Sept. 2nd

August 16, 2017 – – LuceLine Apple Orchard of MN has announced the date of their season opener for 2017. This year’s orchard season opener is scheduled for Saturday, September 2. This is a family owned and operated orchard and vineyard that was established in 2004, and it has been hosting annual season openers ever since.

Rich and Terri Pawelk are the owners and they manage the orchard. Rich states, “Weekends are full service and will include apple sales, food, rides, and so much more. We are looking forward to seeing everyone here.” Rich adds that they will also be offering a number of fun activities for children and adults in addition to their numerous varieties of apples and other fruits.

During the week, Rich says that the orchard will offer sales of apples, as well as a petting zoo, a retail barn, and various other activities. More about their offerings can be seen on the official Facebook – LuceLine Apple Orchard page.

The LuceLine orchard has more than 10,000 apple trees with seven different varieties and its vineyard has four varieties of grapes. While they have been celebrating season openers for many years, Rich says that this year they plan on adding new and exciting things.

“This year we have added a new apple room where our customers can pick up or make their very own apple bag, as well as an apple launcher a giant corn tent and various other fun activities for kids and adults,” says Rich.

Other fun activities during the season opener include a seven acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and hay rides. Rich says that corn shucks and other items are available for decorating and the orchard offers a wide variety of heirloom tomatoes and peppers as well as garlic and other freshly grown herbs, in addition to honey and maple syrup that are gathered on site at the orchard.
