This is the twelfth book Elsharouni has created. The book was made with the aim to create a place where the colorist of any age can allow their imagination to soar. She has intended to experiment with new exciting artwork blending the realism of natural animals with mythical creatures of another world. This subject matter has proven to be of interest to both old and young, as fascination for the imaginary world never really goes away. There’s also particular excitement about this launch because it is the artist’s first attempt in creating a more unrealistic subject matter and integrating it with her style of patterns and designs. It will be a move away from the beautiful horses and animals of her past books to a new world of fantasy art.

“Magical Kingdom Coloring Book: Beautiful And Mythical Animals” sets its main focus on mythical beasts. It is filled with over 50 pages of creatures and animals created from the artist’s own imagination. It also has unicorns, pegasus, griffons, winged animals such as lions and wild cats. It is not limited to only fantasy but also includes some realistically depicted natural animals such a koalas, owls and whales. Cindy Elsharouni has a background in traditional art including watercolor painting and oil painting. She has been creating equine art for over 30 years and adult coloring books, children’s book, and children’s coloring books for over 15 years. This helped shaped the creation of the book as well as her previous ones by aspiring to create true valuable artwork for appreciative colorists by providing them with gallery quality artwork.

When asked about why she created the book, Elsharouni said: “I was excited about the completion of this book because I wanted to push my own limits and create subject matter I haven’t tackled so much in the past. Where as horses have always been a love of mine and came with ease. I am excited to introduce this book to my fans who I know have an affinity to more than just horses or even equine fantasy animals, such as unicorns and Pegasuses, but the whole mythical world. I feel we are going on a creative journey together. ”

Elsharouni is optimistic that the book will inspire people to take creativity more seriously in the sense that it can improve their emotional state and release much stress and also to allow them to believe they can achieve artistic skills they can be proud of and continue to grow and pursue it in all areas of their lives. This positive outlook from the author is certainly testament to their optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation. At many points during the creation of the book some drawing were eliminated from the final draft as she wanted every page to be highly worthy and of extremely high standard to make the cut into the final book. .

In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking her husband who is also an internationally acclaimed artist, Tamer Elsharouni, for adding some of his drawings as well and being an integral part of the book. His interest in fantasy art goes way back and he has created traditional fantasy art for international collectors. She credits him for his part in the creation of the book, saying: “I want to thank Tamer because his background in fantasy art surpasses my own and this was a tremendous help. ”

The author has also mentioned that during the launch period, the book will be offered at a discount and with additional bonuses through her site. It is unknown how long this will last.
