Nesta Storage Takes Home Honours from 2017 FEDESSA and SSA UK Awards Ceremonies

One local family-owned and operated self-storage business has received noteworthy recognition in its field. Nesta Storage recently attended the annual Federation of European Self Storage Associations awards ceremony in Berlin, Germany as well as the United Kingdom’s Self Storage Association gala. Following both events, spokesperson Brian Hefferon announced earlier this week, the company took home two distinct awards in the industry.
Nesta Storage’s Santry branch was named the European Self Storage Facility of the Year, selected from amongst numerous entrants for its strengths in the areas of facility appearance and customer service among others. This award has been deemed the highest honour in the industry.
In addition to the previously mentioned accolade, the company’s Commercial Manager, Lydia Finn took home the European Self Storage Extraordinary Achievement award. This distinction is reserved for industry associates who rise above and beyond what is expected of them in their respective roles with the companies they serve.
“Despite the high level of competition, the efforts of Kenny McLoughlin and his team at the Santry branch outshone the rest. This is a huge accomplishment following a great year for us,” said Hefferon. He went on to point out, “We were also excited to be victorious on an individual basis. Whereas some have gone out of their way to help a customer, worked long hours or put in exceptional effort, Lydia has done it all. Her award has been more than earned, and we’re incredibly proud.”
These awards are not the first for Nesta Storage. Last year, the company was chosen as the recipient of the Charity Initiative of the Year award. This year’s awards come on the heels of the company’s recent development efforts set forth to increase services to its customers.
