Netstar On-Site Engineer Gains New Microsoft Certification
Anil, a Netstar on-site engineer, has recently gained the coveted Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop certification, enhancing his skills and continuing his development at Netstar.

Anil Wowra is the latest in a long line of Netstar engineers to gain new certifications or qualifications. On the week commencing the 22nd July 2020, he successfully achieved the Microsoft 365 Desktop Administration Associate certification. Netstar is always keen to ensure that all employees have a chance to “learn something new every day”. The company is overjoyed that Anil managed to obtain such a sought after and impressive certification in the IT field.
What is the Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop certification?
With this certification, an individual has demonstrated the ability to manage, monitor, and secure client’s devices and applications in an enterprise environment. It is an essential qualification in the IT support world, and there are multiple examinations to pass before being awarded.
Anil had to pass the Exam MD-100: Windows 10, and the Exam MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops. The first MD-100 consists of tasks and questions that measure the ability to deploy and maintain Windows, manage devices and data, and configure connectivity. This was actually the last of the two exams Anil took, passing it earlier this week. He had already taken the MD-101 in April, with the exam focusing on the ability to manage policies, devices, profiles, apps and data, as well as deploying and updating operating systems.
Overall, the qualification demonstrates Anil’s expertise in Deploying Windows, Managing devices and data, Configuring connectivity, Maintaining Windows, Deploying and updating operating systems, Managing policies and profiles, Managing and protecting devices, and Managing apps and data. Now certified, Anil is even more confident in managing and monitoring client devices and applications at enterprise level.
