Netstar take part in Christmas Jumper Day
A leading IT support company in Central London is helping raise money for Save The Children by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day.
November 29, 2021 —
On Friday 10th of December, it will officially be Christmas Jumper Day. This is a day that comes around every year and is dedicated to the wonderful Save the Children charity. It’s a day where people around the UK can dress up in festive jumpers to help raise money for all the different projects this great charity does to help children in need. This year, the team at Netstar will be joining in with the festive fundraising, dressing up in their silliest and funniest Christmas Jumpers to raise spirits and help those less fortunate.
All team members taking part in Christmas Jumper Day will donate at least £2 in support of Save the Children. Anyone is welcome to help support the cause and donate to the Netstar fundraising page. The company has set an initial target of £100, which it hopes to achieve before Christmas Jumper Day begins. Every donation is incredibly important and can genuinely help save lives.
All Proceeds Go Towards Save the Children
Every single penny that’s raised from Christmas Jumper Day will go towards Save the Children to help them continue to fight for equality in the UK and around the world. All donations matter and just £60 is all that’s needed to provide two weeks’ worth of food for a family of 5 in Syria.
It’s seen as a fun way of getting into the festive spirit and helping those less fortunate this Christmas. After all, this time of year is associated with giving back to others and putting smiles on people’s faces. By supporting Netstar and donating to the fundraiser, a lot of money can be raised to give children around the world a better Christmas this year – and for many years to come.
More About Save the Children
Save the Children is a registered charity that’s committed to improving the lives of children through better education, health care and economic opportunities. Proceeds raised through various fundraisers – like Christmas Jumper Day – are put towards different funds and schemes to help the least fortunate children in the UK. Alongside this, Save the Children works globally to improve the lives of others. The charity has provided emergency support aid in natural disasters, war and many other global conflicts. Previous Christmas Jumper Days have already raised lots of money to help children all over the world by offering financial support, building shelters and just generally improving the lives of children in need.
