New Subscription Box For Tweens Launches in U.S

Atlanta-based small business unveils a unique new product for Tweens, giving them entertaining experiences that add value to their daily lives.

February 23, 2021 / /

Subscription boxes are a popular business model, offering customers new things every single month, for a small fee. One company in Metro Atlanta has developed an innovative idea for Tweens to enjoy. Collectybooks is a woman-owned business that noticed a huge gap in the subscription box market. Most of the offerings included things that didn’t add much to the customer’s lives, often discarded or used straight away. Their new product provides a system that offers both productive entertaining offline experiences and a safe curated online platform for Tweenagers.

The subscription boxes target an audience that’s at an age where they have lots of different things going on in their lives. They may be struggling with self-confidence, their image, life skills, social development, and problem-solving. The Collectybooks box aims to provide them with the stimulus they need to reinforce various beneficial life skills, helping Tweens discover more about themselves and delivering a sense of self-purpose. It’s also gender-neutral, meaning all the activities and surprises are suitable for anyone.

Blending fun and education into a box
Every month, Collectybooks will send out a subscription box that contains a host of fun and educational products/activities. This includes a chapter from the Collectybook Keepsake Book – which helps introduce the month’s theme to the reader. It’s an interactive book where Tweens can read and add their own thoughts and ideas to it. Alongside, this, various other offline activities are given, offering the perfect blend of fun and education.

Creating a safe online environment for Tweens
Tweens want to be online all the time, and they’re of an age where it can be potentially dangerous. As such, Collectybooks wanted to create a safe space for Tweens to interact with and support one another. They can connect with other Tweens that have the subscription box, sharing ideas on the month’s theme, learning from one another, and making friends.

Tyra Bryant, the founder of Collectybooks, said that “we hope to fill the market need for a subscription box with lasting value that serves a vital purpose in young people’s lives.” By giving young people an online community – and offering tools that help them develop vital skills, this new subscription box certainly brings value to their lives. Over the course of the subscription, Tweens are taken through a curriculum designed to help them improve their self-image, develop soft-skills, and feel more confident in themselves. It’s very much a learning experience, but done in a way that Tweens find engaging and fun.
