New York Printer Launches “Find-A-Tree In NYC” Earth Day Contest for Young Minds

April 22, 2016 – – Earth Enterprise of New York City, known as “The Greenest Printer In America” has launched a special Earth Day contest designed specifically for elementary school students.

Their Earth Day “Find-a-Tree In NYC Contest” will start with a poster to be introduced on Friday April 22, 2016 (Earth Day) for Elementary School Parent Teachers Associations (PTAs) who want to participate, along with the announcement that Earth Enterprise is offering a $1,000 GRAND PRIZE donation to the enrolled school with the most responding participants by October 31st, 2016.

The poster identifies ten indigenous trees (with illustrations including close-ups of leaves, trunks, and color varieties) in the New York City Metropolitan area. Students will be asked to turn off their video games and stop taking selfies for a few hours and visit nature to collect their own samples, photographs, or drawings of these local tree’s, and confirm their efforts with their schools’ PTA Program Leader. The poster is available to every elementary school classroom in the New York City Metro area, and the PTA can sign-up for this program at no cost by visiting this web page: http://www.earthenterprise.com/find-tree-nyc/

This is the latest in a number of innovative ideas launched by Earth Enterprise to champion green printing, the Earth Day Find-A-Tree Contest is designed to educate young minds to recognize the value of our earth’s resources, and to view their natural surroundings and trees as assets to be cherished well into the future.
