The GoodGrid App will Help People Design Crazy and Creative Eye-Catching Collages of Photos

As a spokesperson for the new app noted, although apps like Photoshop, Affinity Photo and Pixelmator are currently available, they are not always intuitive to use or effective at combining photos.

This knowledge inspired Vogelbusch to create the world’s first “slicing app” that makes it easy for people to make crazy and creative collages of their photos, along with creating polyscapes and more. These collages can be used as a Facebook banner, a Christmas card or displayed in a photo book.

“Before GoodGrid, dedicated collage apps where extremely limiting—to become creative you had to spend hours with professional creative tools which can do many things, but are simply not dedicated to this work,” the spokesperson said, adding that GoodGrid will allow people with a variety of experience levels the opportunity to release their inner artists.

“GoodGrid also found a solution to edit a sliced canvas. This way, even if you still start with a template, everything is fully editable.”

In order to help pay for the production costs associated with finishing up the GoodGrid app and launching it to the public, Vogelbusch recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, he hopes to raise $16,208 through crowdfunding.

In addition, people who make a contribution to the Kickstarter fundraiser will be able to influence GoodGrid’s features; they can offer feedback on what they feel the app is missing for them.

“As soon as this Kickstarter hits its support goal we will start working with you,” the spokesperson said, adding that every supporter can instantly start using the beta version and can influence the direction the app is going.

“If you support us a bit more you will also get a license when the app is going 1.0.”
