Noble Capital is proud to sponsor the Soccer Assist Launch Party, which will take place on Thursday, April 23, from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at PGi Studios, located at 612 West 4th Street, Austin, Texas, 78701.

Soccer Assist is a non-profit organization that helps underserved deserving youth (age 7-11) participate in well-organized soccer leagues.

The purpose of the event is to help the non-profit organization raise funds in order to help families in poverty pay the $600-$1,200 annual fees so these children can join the high quality soccer league in Austin, Texas.

In Texas, the poverty line for a family of 4 is about $24,000, and this fee can represent up to 5% of their income, which leaves too many kids unable to play.

“Playing soccer has been a big part of my life and my family’s life,” states Romney Navarro of Noble Capital. “I’d like to help other families get the same joy out of this sport that we have. Soccer Assist is a great way to achieve this goal.”

Research has shown that participating in organized sports has far greater importance than an opportunity to play a game. Team sports is about building relationships and fostering passion. It’s about sportsmanship and learning one’s strengths and weaknesses. Soccer also teaches kids to respect those others who are different, an invaluable lesson in today’s increasingly diverse society.

Unfortunately, these benefits are limited to only those who can afford to pay. Soccer Assist seeks to level the playing field by assisting families with funding assistance.
