The North Houston Development District is undergoing a transformation. Numerous projects and services are ongoing in this area to attract the best when it comes to commercial and residential life in this area. Some commercial real estate projects currently in the works include the North Houston warehouses, the Avera construction, and the IDI Logistics Building G project.

“We are thrilled to be working on these projects as they will help to demonstrate how safe, accessible and green our activity center is. Our district is growing to better meet the needs of our residents and visitors and these innovative projects are only a small sampling of the Redevelopment that is taking place,” Alexa Valencia, spokesperson for North Houston District, reports.

The North Houston warehouses are part of the Layne Crossing project and building permits were recently issued by the city for two of the six warehouses to be built in this industrial park. When complete, this multi-building industrial development will feature multiple entry and exit points. The strong logistical location along with the connectivity to all areas of the city and major thoroughfares will ensure tenants receive the attention they are seeking from residents and visitors alike.

“This project together with the Avera construction will help to revitalize this part of the city,” Valencia continues. “Avera broke ground on its industrial project in April. When complete, it will help tenants in need of industrial space which remains at a premium in the city. In fact, Houston’s industrial vacancy rate is only 5.4 percent, which can make it difficult to find a suitable property in the area. These developments are working to overcome this problem and will be of great benefit to the city and its varied businesses when complete.”

The IDI Logistics Building G is another project in the works. Upon completion of the project, tenants will benefit from 351,400 square feet of space and units will be built to suit the tenant. Located minutes from Bush International Airport, the facility allows for transportation of products and goods to both local and regional customers.

“Visit our site today to learn more about these projects. Be sure to check back often, as we are constantly working to improve our city for our residents, business owners, and visitors. These projects are only a few of many in the works to achieve this goal,” Valencia declares.
