Ohio Xarelto Lawsuit Plaintiffs Claim Bayer And Janssen Are Responsible For Life-Threatening Injuries Endured By Patient

The lawsuit discusses Xarelto the new-generation, blood-thinning drug they manufacture. It was filed by a married couple from Ohio who together claim that the use of the anticoagulant caused the wife to endure a life-threatening internal bleed. The Ohio plaintiffs are joined by thousands of other plaintiffs from across the nation who have filed their own lawsuits and made strikingly similar claims in reference to the drug. In five year’s time, Xarelto has become the subject of over 3,400 lawsuits filed by plaintiffs from across the United States. These plaintiffs claim that use of the anticoagulant puts patients at heightened risk for the development of severe bleeding events, some of which have reportedly been fatal.
