One Blessed Momma Shares Inspiration Of Company

June 21, 2016 – – Rebecca Kauffeld is a woman with a mission. From her home town of Watertown, WI, she is sharing her personal inspiration for starting an organization. She had a breech birth but was able to deliver naturally in spite of the recommendation that she should have a cesarean section. This inspired her to share her experience with others, aiming to provide them with help and guidance. She wants to make a difference by raising awareness of natural birth options. She encourages other women to like her Facebook page so that they will never miss any of her latest news and tips.

Rebecca declares: “My babies birth gave me a new perspective that is awe inspiring. Praise God. God is so good.”

Those who learn more about Rebecca will find out how committed she is to making a difference to the world. She now volunteers as a doula, which means she supports women throughout their pregnancy and beyond. A recent piece of research published by the Journal of Perinatal Education has found that doulas make a significant difference to the health and well-being outcomes of both mothers and their babies.

The research found that women supported by a doula are more likely to have a natural birth and experience fewer complications. Babies, meanwhile, were less likely to be born with a low birth weight. Put together, this also means that new mothers can better bond with their newborn children, thereby creating a strong family unit.

Rebecca feels that the medical community has insufficient awareness and experience on breech birth, which is why so many end up being delivered by cesarean section. While C-sections may sometimes be a necessity, Rebecca feels they can often be avoided if the right support is available. She wants to ensure that women are aware of their options and are empowered to take control of their own birthing.

After giving birth, Rebecca started her own business, as well as her One Blessed Momma blog. Through this, she shares many inspiring midwifery resources that are beneficial both for expectant mothers and for midwives and other birthing professionals. She aims to be an inspiration to others through her personal experience, her dedication and love for her family, and her servitude to God.
