NAIROBI, Kenya – September 28, 2015 – Pendo Art, Pendo is Swahili for love, in English, was founded in 2012. It was inspired by challenges faced by young upcoming artists in Nairobi and through that this group set their main goal and mission to empower artists, as they are able to give them hope. Pendo Art was founded to help promote the discovery, enhancement, and use of artistic talents aimed towards achieving economic, political, social, moral and spiritual development. The company is centered in visual arts, encouraging young artists from all over the country to play a significant role in the development of communities through art. While sharing the vision of making a difference in the local and global levels in the arts industry.

Pendo Art’s main goal is to empower artists and revive the art industry. Their core values are the artist always comes first, and the client builds the motivation. Finally, together they want to correct the mess art is facing. However, before this company can inspire artists, Pendo for Art needs help. That’s why they launched this campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $50,000 by November 26, 2015. The funds raised will go to purchasing machines, marketing, advertising, and more.
