PitchGround Launches Covid19 Initiative to Help Small Businesses and Kids Who Cannot Afford Food
Online business marketplace and education hub pioneers effort to work together and help those in need during an unprecedented global pandemic

PitchGround, the SaaS marketplace and online business education hub, announced today that it is launching a worldwide initiative to help small businesses and children who cannot afford food cope with the effects of the Covid19 crisis. The project involves the direct donation of a portion of the company’s revenue to local organizations as well as a partnership with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies to donate free software to small businesses in need. PitchGround has also set up a fundraising site, enoughstock.com, to aid victims of the pandemic.
“Our main mission is to help small businesses with SaaS solutions, yet at this uniquely difficult and tragic moment, our whole team felt it was time to step up and help out where we could,” as said by Udit Goenka, the CEO of PitchGround. “Our goal with this initiative is to work together more than ever and deploy care about each other.”
PitchGround will donate 5% of all revenue from April, dividing the money equally between team members. Each team member will then be able to route donations to whatever the local organization they choose. They can also donate funds to organizations supporting children’s education and food needs during the crisis.
The company has also partnered up with a growing group of SaaS companies to provide free software access to thousands of small businesses. The goal is to help companies to save, sustain and continue with their operations during the impending economic recession caused by Covid19. This offer will extend through December 2020, with each recipient able to select two products. The EnoughStock site is designed to raise donations for Covid19. 100% of donations will be transferred directly to WHO or one of its partners for Covid19.
