He was speaking at an elite Iftar gathering organized by the World Business Group (WBG) and the leading Saudi Company NAWAZINDA Groups on May 23, 2019 at the Marriott Hotel (Diplomatic Quarters) in Riyadh. The high-profile event was attended by more than 45 Ambassadors and representatives of various countries including USA, Germany, Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, South Africa, Ireland, Mauritius, Turkey among others, besides top-notch Saudi businessmen and renowned personalities of the Kingdom.

Ambassador Dr. Ausaf Sayeed recalled the historic visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Saudi Arabia and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to India and said that the two countries share strong bonds of friendship since centuries which have now converted into a strategic partnership.

Announcing the final results of the Parliamentary elections, Ambassador Dr. Ausaf Sayeed pointed out that the stock markets are already showing buoyancy and the general atmosphere is upbeat. Dr. Sayeed’s announcement was applauded by the prestigious congregation who also extended their best wishes to the Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
