Publish A Journal Article Bootcamp Is A New Feature At Academic Muse
July 18, 2015 – – Academic Muse, a coaching for professors and graduate students company, has announced a new feature of their already popular services. The new Publish A Journal Article Bootcamp is designed to aid academic writers in a number of areas including tips and advice on how to be more productive with their academic writing.
“Maintaining the momentum of a regular writing practice is the most surefire way to produce quality writing, and to keep getting better,” states Alan Klima, founder of Academic Muse, http://www.academicmuse.org/.
Bootcamp sessions are set up for four weeks, and members of Academic Muse are provided with a suite of online tools, all designed to assist in the writing process. The tools enable writers to keep track of writing time, track daily sessions, and report on their struggles and triumphs during the academic writing process.
Coaches are available to read comments and respond back to users, with advice on what they should do next and what they are doing wrong/right. Stars alert the user that there is feedback available and a dialogue box is set up to inquire about writers when they are not online.
“It really is helpful,” says Stanley Davis, Professor of Law at a leading University. “Writing is just not my forte and this certainly helps to hold myself more accountable and ensures that I get things done in a more timely manner.”
The bootcamp is designed to provide a writing environment and experience that enables writers to gain a more consistent flow of quality writing over time. Cost of the program for graduate students is $87 for a four week session. The cost for post doctorates and professors is $97 for a four week session. Discounts are provided for multi-session enrollment, and can be viewed at http://www.academicmuse.org/bootcamp/.
