Robert Bailey UC Berkeley Reveals New Role at San Diego-based Technology Firm

Former registrar and director of admissions Robert Bailey UC Berkeley heads back to San Diego, California, to assume a new role at a leading technology company in the city

BERKELEY, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 22, 2020 / A former registrar and director of admissions at UC Berkeley, Robert Bailey also served as senior vice president of San Diego-based technology firm CollegeSource, Inc. from 2001 until 2003. Now returning to the business to assume an all-new role, Robert Bailey UC Berkeley reveals more about his decision to head back to the software company – a leading technology business in the famous Pacific coastal city.

"I've recently returned to the beautiful city of San Diego, California," explains Robert Bailey UC Berkeley, "to assume a new role at software company CollegeSource, Inc."

Robert Bailey UC Berkeley was last involved with the business more than 15 years ago, then serving as CollegeSource, Inc.'s senior vice president. Leaving for work in Singapore, where he spent almost eight years, Robert Bailey UC Berkeley is now back at the company that, he says, expertly aids both students and staff within higher education. "In my original role at CollegeSource, Inc., I reported to the board's chairman, providing assessments on everything from marketing and production to product satisfaction and administration," reveals the former UC Berkeley faculty member.

Now back at the firm following over a decade-and-a-half away, in addition to his work as registrar and director of admissions at UC Berkeley, Bailey has also assumed roles at other famous American educational institutions, including the University of Oklahoma and Governors State University in Illinois, as well as serving at the Department of State in Washington, D.C.

"More recently, and since my original departure from CollegeSource, Inc., I've enjoyed a number of years working in Southeast Asia," reveals Robert Bailey UC Berkeley. Based in the subregion of Asia for almost eight years, Bailey served as the dean of American College Singapore before taking on a role as a senior lecturer in information studies at Temasek Polytechnic. "I also spent a period as the vice president for records," he goes on to point out, "at Transnational, a leading player in supporting the Asia Pacific Region's banking industry."

Robert Bailey Back on American Soil

Now back on American soil and delighted to be based in the popular Californian coastal city of San Diego once more, Robert Bailey returns to CollegeSource, Inc. Here, the former UC Berkeley faculty member will employ his many decades of records management experience-including in both government and private enterprise-to again support the thriving technology business in its provision of sector-leading solutions for those working and studying within higher education.

Despite a love of international travel, Robert Bailey UC Berkeley says he's now happy to be back working in the U.S. after time spent in both Singapore and Canada, as well as elsewhere around the world, and is delighted to be once again working at CollegeSource, Inc. "Over 2,000 universities and colleges rely on CollegeSource, Inc. products," reveals the records consultant, "as do millions of users worldwide.

Established in 1971, the software company currently provides a range of solutions tied to academic planning and transfer credit articulation and evaluation, according to Robert Bailey UC Berkeley.
