Through education and collaboration, the organization’s goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Robert Smith, a senior litigation attorney, derives deep satisfaction from helping his clients. Noted for his accessibility, Robert devotes the time necessary to explain the intricacies of law and the legal processes pertinent to clients’ individual circumstances. As a highly experienced courtroom litigator, Robert has handled hundreds of trials in commercial, general civil,criminal prosecution and defense, personal injury and complex family law litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Robert served as Assistant Bureau Chief in the Office of the Maricopa County Attorney, where he led the criminal prosecution team of eight attorneys.
Robert taught law as a Closing Argument and Jury Selection Instructor for Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He is a former member of the Advisory Board of Directors for the Department of English at ASU, and was involved with ASU’s Barrett Honors College, where he conducted mock interviews to prepare applicants for Marshall, Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships.
Robert’s current practice focuses on the areas of civil litigation, business law, personal injury and criminal defense. He is licensed to practice in Arizona and New York.
