He has created streaming data pipelines using Spark structured streaming jobs to consume data from the Kafka topics /other sources, apply business transformation logic, and ingest the data into Databricks delta tables, making the transformed data available to the ML models and business dashboards.  He has developed Kafka Producers to write transformed data from Databricks Delta tables into Kafka topics and Python programs to process data downloaded from APIs. Dongare has also implemented machine learning models using Azure ML, demonstrating strong Python scripting and data processing proficiency.

Dongare contributed to projects for American Express at Infosys, using Spark ML, Apache Spark, and Scala to train machine learning models and generate probability scores for customer offers. His role also involved aggregating variables for model training with Hive and developing a model recalibration module in Scala.

Dongare’s career began at Tata Consultancy Services, where he worked on various projects, including ingesting privacy preference data from legacy systems into Hadoop and data reporting using Hive. This extensive experience across multiple organizations has equipped Dongare with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of data engineering principles.
