Sara Russell To Present Career Saving Help Seminar Series

May 29, 2015 – – Austin, TX – May 26, 2015 – Sara Russell, veteran speaker and teacher, returns home to Louisiana to present a two-day seminar series for teachers and school administrators aimed at preventing the rapid departure from the teaching profession. The seminars, titled, “Not Yo’ Momma’s Classroom Management (CM) and Differentiated Instruction (DI),” will be held at the Clarion Inn and Suites Conference Center in Covington, LA June 10th-June 11th.

“Nearly 50% of teachers are leaving the profession within the first five years. If we hope to sustain a strong education system in the United States, it is clear that we must provide our educators with useful tools and resources, not just the flavor of the month, to provide long-term enjoyment and fulfillment in their careers,” says Russell.

“Teachers and School Administrators are constantly balancing pressure from parents, teachers, and both state and federal government. These pressures, combined with inadequate resources, could cause a shortage in quality teachers in the near future.”

After attending the seminar series, “Not Yo’ Momma’s CM and DI,” participants will walk away with field-tested techniques they can start using right away. These techniques will help educators regain control of their classrooms and overcome the stressful barriers they face each day so they can enjoy teaching again.

Details and agendas for the seminars are provided at www.LTAseminars.com.

The seminars will be held from 8:30am – 3:30pm, Wednesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 11th. Registration is required, graduate credits for professional development is optional and participants can attend one or both days.

Sara’s strategies and techniques for both classroom management and differentiated instruction can be used in any classroom setting K-12, and are presented with her trademark humor, incredible energy and inspiring convictions.

She is a dynamic and engaging speaker with hundreds of workshops around the US under her belt, who pulls stories from both her 15 years as an educator, as well as those she’s worked with, to deliver invaluable and entertaining content to school staffs.
