ScrubWire Announces the Launch of its Nursing Scholarships Fund

The Annual $1,000 Nursing Scholarship Program will Award Two Nursing Students Scholarships Worth $500 Each

Cody, WY / ACCESSWIRE / December 24, 2015 / John King, the founder of ScrubWire, is pleased to announce the launch of his company’s annual scholarship fund. As King noted, ScrubWire’s $1,000 Nursing Scholarships Program will award two nursing students scholarships that are worth $500 apiece.

To apply for a nursing scholarship, students must have been accepted into a community or university RN program, write a 600 to 850-word article about nursing, provide a copy of their college student ID, and have a GPA of 3.4 or higher.

As King noted, ScrubWire is proud to do whatever it can to support nursing students. “Scrub Wire’s scholarship programs are privately funded by individuals who believe that students entering the nursing field are individuals who are going to provide the most excellent care to healthcare patients,” King said, adding that ScrubWire’s financial aid department will confirm every applicant’s submission.

The fact that ScrubWire would provide two generous scholarships to nursing students will not surprise the many people who have visited the website. Since it first launched, ScrubWire has developed a well-deserved reputation for being an outstanding source of free resources including a CNA practice test, registered nursing practice exams, anatomy education and the popular ScrubWire Magazine.

As a student in the Registered Nursing Program, King understands first-hand how important it is to have access to free information about the healthcare field. This knowledge inspired him to create ScrubWire. The website features plenty of helpful information that King learned while in school and within his healthcare field.

From people who are currently licensed healthcare professionals and students in nursing programs to those who are considering going into healthcare and need information, ScrubWire is a very useful resource.

ScrubWire.com also features inspirational and educational articles about the nursing field. For example, a recent article that has already gotten a lot of attention from readers is titled “10 Reasons to Become a Nurse.” Among the reasons, noted King, include the fact that a career as a registered nurse is virtually recession-proof, that the average salary is $52,000 a year, and that many nurses work three 12-hour days, which means they typically have four days off each week.
