Selected High Schools Receive Grants for Athletic Scholarship Service

Student-Athletes Receive Assistance for Athletic Recruiting

LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESSWIRE / October 29, 2015 / Prep2Star announced today that the company is awarding membership grants to high school student-athletes as part of their inaugural Vanguard High School Program.

The Vanguard High School Program consists of a limited selection of high schools throughout the United States. The participating high schools were selected based on several factors including academic merit and economic need. Student-athletes at the selected high schools will receive grants covering the cost of a premium Prep2Star.com membership. The goal of the membership is for the high school athlete to receive a college athletic scholarship and reduce or eliminate the cost of a college education.

Individual Vanguard grants potentially save each student-athlete thousands of dollars, and there is no limit to the number of years that a high school athlete may select when joining. Prep2Star encourages EVERY student-athlete attending a Vanguard selected high school to take advantage of the grant regardless of gender or their academic year before the closing membership period of December 31, 2015.

“There is a large number of deserving high school athletes that are not recruited for scholarships due to dependency on traditional recruiting methods. Self-marketing makes a difference in getting noticed by college coaches. However, due the lack of awareness of recruiting services, many student-athletes miss out on the opportunity. We are excited about the program and hope to continue it annually,” said Prep2Star’s CEO Allen Jordan.

Eligibility includes:

– High school must be in the United States (or select DoD schools);
– Student-athlete must be anticipating completion of high school diploma at the time of membership;
– Student-athlete must be planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.
