Seller Says Only a Few Tickets Left for the NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto
The historic upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend Game in Toronto is almost sold out, and SportsTicketBank says fans better get tickets now if they want to see the game.
Los Angeles, CA, United States – September 30, 2015 /PressCable/ —
In September of 2013, Toronto was chosen to host the NBA All-Star Game, which will be held in February 2016. The historic game has received a lot of attention from basketball fans because it’s the first game in the NBA’s history that will be held outside of the United States. But fans who want to see the game in person had better act quickly if they hope to score tickets.
“We’re not surprised that people are buying tickets to the game so far in advance, but what fans may not understand is that unless they act quickly, there won’t be any tickets left to buy,” says a spokesman from SportsTicketBank, an independent online ticket seller.
A quick glance at the ticket site shows that, as of this writing, there are only 23 tickets left to the main game, which is scheduled to take place on February 12, 2016. The weekend will be held at the Air Canada Centre, which is the home base for the Toronto Raptors. But there’s more to the weekend than just the game. Ticket holders will also get to participate in various festivities, parties, challenges, special dinners, and many more games that lead up to the climax all-star game.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says the spokesman, “and people are recognizing how special this event will be. But many fans are disappointed because most sites show the tickets are already sold out. That’s why we want to get the word out that we still have a handful, but unfortunately, we don’t expect them to last very long.”
It’s been reported that some fans are shelling out almost $15,000 for tickets close to the action, but the spokesman promises that fans won’t find prices that outrageous on their site. And indeed, the site shows tickets ranging from $400 to just over $700 for the best seats.
In addition to the main game, Canada will also host the NBA Rising Starts Challenge and the Celebrity All-Star Game that features television and music stars playing with some of the NBA’s best known players. In addition, ticket holders will get to mingle with the East and West Conference teams and coaches at the NBA All-Star practice, which will be held center court at the Air Canada Centre.
Fans who want to see the NBA All-Star Weekend Game in Toronto should understand that tickets will likely be gone within the next few days. If they want to see this once in a lifetime, historic game, they should head over to the site and try to get one of the 23 tickets still available.
