ServeConnect is a Social Website Concept with the Goal of Empowering Individuals to Make Changes in their Neighborhoods

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / June 4, 2016 / The founder of ServeConnect, a social website concept that helps empower people to make positive changes in their communities, is pleased to announce the launch of the innovative new website.

 

As a spokesperson for ServeConnect noted, anyone with an idea to better their community will be able to post their concept on ServeConnect and request volunteer support or financial backing.

“In fact, volunteering can be a great way to develop skills, learn more about career options, make friends, garner new professional contacts, get exercise, spend time outdoors with animal and with kids, or even just shake up your routine,” the spokesperson noted, adding that with ServeConnect a family, church, organization or individual can easily get involved in their community by logging on and finding projects they would like to support and pledge volunteer or financial support.

ServeConnect was created and launched by Carrie, a young woman who worked as a Family Service Worker for a preschool. While at the preschool, Carrie said she saw all of the huge challenges that communities and families are currently facing in the United States.

This experience inspired her to launch ServeConnect, which will encourage and help people who want to drive change in their own backyards.

To use ServeConnect, people simply need to sign up and receive a login ID. Then, visitors to the site can search for projects in their community that they wish to be involved in.

As the spokesperson noted, people can then choose to offer financial support or volunteer their time to the projects that inspire them. If they wish, they can also start a project of their own.

To help pay for the costs that are associated with launching the ServeConnect website, Carrie recently launched a fundraiser on the Kickstarter website. She hopes to use crowdfunding to raise $10,000.
