Pacific Coast Mediation (PCM), a well-established mediation service in San Diego, is pleased to announce that Shannon Vajda, CEO and owner of PCM, will be featured as a panelist at the first annual Family Mediation Institute hosted by Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA). The Family Mediation Institute will take place at DoubleTree Club by Hilton, Orange County Airport, on June 8th – 9th, 2018.
Shannon Vajda will participate as a panelist at the workshop titled “Innovative Ways to Build and Grow a Mediation Practice—And How to Make Money Too”. Vajda’s co-panelists will be Susan E. Guthrie, a practicing family law attorney, and Kathleen Coble, a practicing family law attorney and mediator. The panel will address the issue of establishing and expanding a mediation practice quickly and efficiently. The panelists will discuss different structures that will help new and already established mediators grow their practices. The panel will also focus on ways to establish a mediation practice to maximize income.
The panelists will also educate the workshop attendees about implementing online mediation platforms, with the focus on practical applications and ethical considerations.

The first Family Mediation Institute will be held in 2018 and is planned to become an annual event. It will feature workshops and skill-building sessions where new and experienced family mediators can learn techniques and best practices for resolving family law disputes.
