Slingerzz Is a Soft Coil That Expands When Thrown, and Wraps around the Objects like a Lasso

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 7, 2016 / Slingerzz, a new toy lasso created by Michael Marlin, is proud to announce its official launch.

The toy is a soft lasso made of stretchable plastic. When resting it resembles a coiled spring, but when it’s thrown, it stretches out to many times its original length to coil around any object it hits. It then uses dual patented technology to grip onto the object.

“You will be super cool when you can lasso that chair and pull it up for your date to sit on. Or nab that broom over there and bring it back to your hand with the finesse of Spiderman using his webbing,” says Marlin.

Marlin, who describes himself as the “Quintessential Renaissance man,” ran away with the circus as a teenager, and then became a highly skilled juggler who even worked in Las Vegas. Walking away from that life, he created LUMA, a human light show that will be going on tour within the next few months.

The big challenge with never before seen toys is product demonstration, but Marlin is confident that he can take Slingerzz to the next level. “I created a human light show LUMA, something that had never been done before and overcame so many obstacles that would make the faint of heart, well, faint,” says Marlin.

To overcome the inevitable challenges of marketing and PR, Marlin has taken his lasso toy to Kickstarter where he is seeking backers to help make his dream a reality.

His plan is to market largely through social media, where product demonstration is a cornerstone of social sharing, and where he believes Slingerzz can go viral in an organic way. In addition, he will be attending conferences, trade shows and festivals where he can perform live demonstrations and promote the item in a live setting.

Backers will receive a variety of gifts depending on their donation amount, even Slingerzz toys shipped directly from Hawaii.

Marlin believes that Slingerzz will be taking the world by storm. He’s confident that once he gets it into the hands of players, the rest will take care of itself. After all, as he puts it, “with Slingerzz, the world is your target.”
