Staffing Agencies in Tigard, OR Join Nationwide Effort to Fight Hunger – Brand It Blue Day Set for June 11

June 08, 2016 – – Tigard, Oregon, June 8, 2016—Express Employment Professionals of Tigard, OR, one of the biggest staffing agencies in Tigard, OR, dedicating a day to volunteerism better known as “Brand It Blue Day.”

On Saturday, June 11th, the clients, associates, family and friends of Express Employment Professionals offices across the world will join forces with their local food banks and pantries and aid the fight against hunger – a widespread epidemic that continues to impact millions of people around the world.

Brand It Blue Day provides Express offices the opportunity to give back to their communities that have supported them over the years. This is the day each Express franchise can comes together for one great cause of helping the community.

From now through June 11th, Express Tigard will host a food drive at its office, located at 10115 SW Nimbus Ave, Suite 500, where you can drop off non-perishable food items. On June 11th, volunteers will gather the food and take it to the Beaverton Perishable Repack Room at the Oregon Food Bank, where they will be on site throughout the day.

“The children who depend on the meals they receive at school have an especially difficult time during the summer,” said Jerry Dalnes, Tigard Express Branch Manager. “Meals will be provided for children and their families in our community with the donations we receive.”

Last year, more than 225 Express Employment Professionals offices participated in Brand It Blue Day. In the past four years, in addition to those Express offices, 1,500 volunteers have donated their time and resources and provided more than 156,000 meals to local food banks and charitable organization.
