StarBrite Dental Supports Local Special Olympics Event

Rockville Dentist and Team Participate in Annual Inspiration 2K Walk/Run and 5K Run

Local Rockville dentist Dr. Maryam Seifi and her staff at StarBrite Dental recently participated in the Annual Inspiration 2K Walk/Run and 5K Run. The Special Olympics of Maryland – Montgomery County hosted the October 2nd event.

The annual event raises awareness and support for the Montgomery County chapter of the Special Olympics. The local organization provides year-round programs free of charge to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

“I have been in Rockville for over 25 years. I love the people and the community here. The Special Olympics of Maryland, Montgomery County gives us a chance to do something for our part of the community,” shares Dr. Seifi, lead dentist at StarBrite Dental, “We get a chance to support this group and its athletes and be part of this great event. It has become an inspiration to the community and I am proud to be a sponsor year after year.”

Donations by StarBrite Dental and other event participants support the 23 training and competitive sports programs available to eligible individuals through the Special Olympics of Maryland – Montgomery County. These programs provide physical fitness opportunities for athletes of all ages, beginning as young as eight years old.

This is not Dr. Seifi and StarBrite Dental’s first time supporting the local Special Olympics chapter. The Rockville dentist and her staff participated in the Inspiration 2K Walk/Run and 5K Run in previous years. Additionally, they have collaborated with the Special Olympics of Maryland for other events in the past.
