Super Seer To Demonstrate Their Innovative Helmet at the SHOT Show
EVERGREEN, CO / ACCESSWIRE / January 15, 2016 / Super Seer
and STG to Exhibit Their Highly Acclaimed Helmet Awareness System at this
Year’s SHOT Show.
The SHOT Show is the largest and most comprehensive
trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports, hunting and
law enforcement industries; the show offers a uniquely diverse Law Enforcement
section for agency and department purchasing agents.
It is the world’s premier exposition of combined
firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and
related products and services.
SHOT Show is one of the most important law
enforcement events of the year and will be held on January 19 – 22, 2016 at the
Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Steve Smith president of Super Seer said, “With the
overwhelming interest we received at the IACP event during our introduction of
the technologically advanced Helmet-Lighting-System, we felt it was important
to give every law enforcement agency the opportunity to see our product.”
The SHOT Show is the largest trade show of its kind
in the world and the fifth largest trade show in Las Vegas, the SHOT Show
features more than 1,600 exhibitors filling booth space covering 630,000 net
square feet. The show, which is a trade-only event, attracts more than 62,000
industry professionals from all 50 states and 100 countries.
Steve Smith went on to say, “The special STG Helmet
Lighting System enhances the safety and visibility of the officer while wearing
the helmet, by instantly alerting oncoming motorists of their presence, on and
off their vehicle.”
During operation the wireless LED brake lights on the
rear of the officer’s helmet alerts oncoming motorists when brakes are applied.
In addition, a wireless LED light bar is activated when the officer is
responding to an emergency. The lights oscillate from amber to blue or red to
blue. The aerodynamic design of the wireless LED housing on all helmets, are
mounted to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety requirements.
This is what David Kinaan, retired supervisor of the
California Highway Patrol Academy’s Motorcycle Training Unit and now consultant
to Strategic Technology Group, had to say: “With the increasing number of
high profile vehicles on the road today, getting the motorcycle brake light up
higher will surely enhance motorcycle safety and cut down on rear-end
collisions.”
K. L. Taylor president of STG followed up by saying, “The primary goal of the STG Helmet Lighting System design is to increase Motor
Officer visibility and save lives.”
Another optional feature on the helmet is a built-in,
concealed camera with wireless activation to record the officer’s direct line
of sight, more accurately than the “body-cam” No other personal surveillance
system can do this:
It’s High Definition; rechargeable, hands-free and
self-activating in tandem with the emergency light system, which makes camera
operation effortless. Reliable performance and STG encryption technology makes
storing data secure and pain free.
