Tunbridge Wells, UK – Kristina Oliver and Emily Gayton have launched a Kickstarter campaign for SWYMBAGs, a range of 100% waterproof bags designed to keep valuables safe when at the beach and enjoying the water.

“We came up with the idea after having our bag stolen whilst we were swimming on holiday last year and wanted to find a way this wouldn’t?happen to us or anyone else in the future,” the creators explain,?“there are many options to keep your phones dry on the market but nothing which would allow you to keep passports, keys, cameras and other items dry and still be able to enjoy the water easily. The?swymbags have been created?so that they are as?versatile on land as they are?in water and with the fabric outer layers?no one can see what it is you are carrying which is an additional safety feature.”

All SWYMBAGs have a waterproof compartment which features a unique locking mechanism sealing the contents into the bag keeping them safe and dry. This also acts as handy theft deterrent to pickpockets as you are required to open the mechanism in order to get the contents out. Constructed from high quality plastics and 316 stainless steel components, it has been designed to endure repeated exposure to water without any deterioration.

The outer coverings are made from high quality CORDURA? — A?fabric which many of the most respected brands, retailers and militaries around the world use when they need to make a product that’s durable, versatile and reliable. Constructed using high tenacity fiber technologies, CORDURA? fabrics are exceptionally durable and are considered the “best-in-class.” An antibacterial coating will also be applied to further protect the bags.
