Teachers Learning Center: Educating the Educators

Teacher’s Learning Center is now offering both online and print-based courses for teachers. Courses provide graduate level credit for recertification or pay step increases.

In many states, the rigorous process of becoming a K-12 teacher is only surpassed in difficulty by the time consuming process to maintain that teacher’s certification. Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDU) are often required not only for maintaining certification but also for promotion, pay scale increases and endorsements. For many educators, finding time to attend classes and complete assignments on top of their already laborious workload is nearly impossible. 
 
Fortunately, the summer is here, and Teachers Learning Center (TLC) is introducing a fully accredited online course option – offering educators more choice in how they take professional development courses.
