TDA is owned and operated by Cynthia Berning, a seasoned dancer and instructor. Berning started her career performing in ballets and worked her way up to principle roles. She studied at The Pittsburg Ballet Theater and went on to graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Dance-Performance, a BA in Sociology and a minor in Education. With an extensive background and over 12 years teaching experience, Berning brings invaluable knowledge and expertise to the art of teaching dance. Furthermore, Berning’s highly trained and qualified staff add to the success of The Dance Academy.

The Dance Academy at Costa Mesa is proud to offer quality training that will guide dancers to become confident and strong individuals.
