The Great American Songbook Announces a Meetup at a New Venue

Get ready for another Great American Songbook experience thanks to the new venue through Meetup.com

Creating and keeping track of meetings and events is a breeze thanks to the online platform and planning tool, Meetup. Using this platform, those in the group “Singing the Great American Song Book,” have created a Great American Songbook Meetup.

This event is set to take place on Sunday, June 3 at 6:00 PM at The Wilkerson Theater in Sacramento, CA. The cost is just $15.00, and everyone is invited to attend. During the event, everyone can enjoy singing and showing off their vocal chops. It’s fun and entertaining for people of all ages.

“Our monthly meetings and meetups were created for those who enjoy spending time singing classics derived from the Great American Song Book, with live musical accompaniment, which is provided at the venue where the meetup takes place,” stated the organizer of the event, Shelly Burns. “We are excited to have another opportunity to get together and make beautiful music.”

Those planning to attend the event can plan to pay their $15.00 cover at the door, and all instruments and a PA system are provided. Those who wish to participate only need to bring along their voice and their two song selections from the American Songbook they want to bring. While it’s optional, the majority of people who attend will bring along snacks and drinks.
