The National Adoption Foundation Announces Grants for Potential Adoptive Parents
The grants may be used to help offset the cost of the home study, a requirement to adopt a child, and the grants are supported by donations made to the foundation, FundYourAdoption.org reports
Mt. Kisco, NY – May 26, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —
The National Adoption Foundation proudly announces they are now offering adoption grants to help offset the cost of a home study. This study remains a requirement of adopting a child, and prospective parents may be hesitant to take on the expense. With the help of this grant, they can reduce the cost of adoption while providing a child with the love, caring, and nurturing every human deserves. Any family who is interested in adopting may apply for this grant today.
“Grants are provided to families from all walks of life and are 100 percent supported by donations people make to the National Adoption Foundation. In fact, all monies raised through donations go to fund these adoption grants. They are never used for administrative costs, salaries, and other expenses of that nature,” Danielle Goldberg, spokesperson for the National Adoption Foundation, explains.
According to BabyCenter.com, families who adopt through an agency can expect to pay between $20,000 and $40,000 to bring a child home. This includes the cost of the home study, medical expenses, and more. Private adoptions run anywhere from $14,500 to $35,000, but costs can vary greatly when this option is selected. Foreign adoptions range from $25,000 to $50,000 typically, and many families discover they cannot afford any of these options. With the help of this grant, the cost of an agency adoption decreases.
“The National Adoption Foundation wishes to ensure any parent interested in taking in a child can do so, and this grant is only one of the many programs and services available. Our foundation also offers other resources for individuals and families wanting to adopt, so contact us today to learn more about how we may be of help,” Goldberg continues.
Founded in 1994, The National Adoption Foundation works to help families with their adoption-related needs. In addition to the grants, the foundation offers a special loan program through Citizens Bank to help families finance an adoption, and the Adopt Directly program to facilitate private adoptions. Donations are needed to help more families achieve the goal of bringing a child into the home through these programs and the work done by the National Adoption Foundation.
“Individuals interested in making a donation or learning more about the grants now being offered and the adoption process may visit our site. Discover resources available to adoptive families, find answers to frequently asked questions, and more. We are here to help in any way we can,” Goldberg declares.
